Can you weigh emptiness?
Yes!
By what measure?
Surrounding vitality.
Weighed in despair, how much sentience
can be draped upon void before it takes up the whole?
Heft only in duration, an intimate shelf life.
Scaled not by capacity, or fits,
but by how much it can consume
without successfully vacating vicinity.
Emptiness is the whole; all else is its keeper.
